Faces of Horror (1998)

Three horror tales that are a) all introduced by Tsui Kam-kong, b) not remotely scary and c) incredibly poorly made. Story 1: Some teenagers are in for frights after one of them disrespects the dead and others go to places they shouldn't go. Mediocre. Story 2: Carrie Ng hits a workman in the street and the ghost seeks revenge. She consults wise old woman Granny Lung and somehow ends up with child ghost Kok Siu-man around the house. Generally dull. Also stars the girl from The Fruit is Swelling and various other b-flicks as Carrie's daughter. Story 3: Pick of the three, to say the most. Roy Cheung leaves his mainland girlfriend (Annie Ng), who promptly kills herself and her child. She gets back at philandering Roy in HK after he doesn't provide soul plates for her and the kid. All up, I found nothing special in this film.
